Alex Luceli Jiménez (she/her) is a queer Mexican writer and middle school English teacher living in Soledad, CA. Her writing—fiction, poetry, and journalism—has appeared or is forthcoming in Berkeley Fiction Review, Lunch Ticket, Prismatica Magazine (now inactive), Ram Eye Press, Barren Magazine, and The Daily Californian, where she contributed over 100 articles over the course of four years. She was born in Anaheim, CA and raised in Fontana, CA. After graduating from high school, she went on to study comparative literature and creative writing at UC Berkeley on a full merit scholarship.
On this Medium page, expect to read creative nonfiction, ramblings, and excerpts from fiction. Many, many years ago this page was used to self-publish fiction and poetry, all traces of which have now been scrubbed from the internet (she hopes).
